Watson Honored for Conservative Leadership

JACKSONVILLE, IL – Representative Jim Watson has been named as a LIFT Leader by the Illinois Conservative Caucus for his conservative voting record.  Watson was named a LIFT Leader for his commitment and continued support of limited government, individual rights, and the free market.

“I am proud to be recognized as a LIFT Leader,” Watson said.  “While in Springfield, I focus on voting in a manner that best represents the 97^th District.  I know that promoting limited government and individual freedom is important to my constituents in Western Illinois.”

Watson garnered a 90% conservative rating, based on his voting record in the General Assembly.
